Emile Aoun is a Lebanese lawyer with 30 years of experience. He is a focused professional who has a proven history of making effective decisions and finding innovative solutions to legal problems in civil, commercial and criminal cases.
Aoun’s higher education and exceptional experience as a lawyer provided him with the skills needed to effectively carry out all the tasks assigned in both domestic and international law across Lebanon and Europe. His studies in law, administrative & political sciences, and history, as well as his two Masters degrees in public law and private law, have deepened his theoretical and academic knowledge of the different concepts of legal cultures.

Lead Counsel to represent the rights and interests of the Accused in his absence in STL-18-10. This connected case relates to the three attacks against three Lebanese politicians in 2004 and 2005.

Lead Counsel to represent the rights and interests of one of the principal accused in the case of Prosecutor v. Ayyash et al., STL-11-01. This case relates to the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri in 2005.
